Chappell's Florist is a local flower shop based in South Burlington, Vermont, delivering flowers to South Burlington and surrounding areas. Every arrangement is designed by our in-house florists and delivered locally—never boxed, shipped, or outsourced.
We focus on reliable delivery, fresh flowers and thoughtful service for everyday moments and life’s most special occasions.
Where We Deliver Flowers
Our delivery team serves South Burlington, VT and surrounding areas that are part of our regular local routes. These include nearby towns, colleges, hospitals and business districts.

All deliveries are made by local drivers who know the area, traffic patterns and facility guidelines.
How Our Flower Delivery Works
We deliver fresh flower arrangements and plants 6 days a week within our local delivery zone. Orders are prepared daily to ensure flowers arrive looking their best.
We don’t promise exact delivery times, we operate within delivery windows which allows us to account for weather, traffic and multiple stops while still providing reliable service.

Monday–Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM - Homes, hotels, hospitals and funeral services:
Monday–Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
During major holidays like Valentine’s Day or Mother’s Day, delivery hours may be extended to accommodate higher volume.
Delivery Minimums & Order Requirements
To qualify for delivery, orders must meet a minimum purchase amount.
- Minimum delivery subtotal: $39.99 (before tax and delivery fees)
- Product discounts apply only to qualifying orders
- Discounts cannot be combined with other offers
All delivery fees and totals are displayed during checkout before your order is complete.
Deliveries Outside the Local Area
For recipients outside our local South Burlington delivery area, Chappell’s Florist may arrange delivery through a trusted local florist in the destination area.
We can help with these arrangements but availability and timing is dependent on the recipient’s location and local florist schedules. Sunday delivery outside the area cannot be guaranteed.
Special Delivery Notes
Some delivery locations have specific rules we must follow:
Hospitals
Some hospitals do not allow latex balloons. When needed, balloon substitutions will be made with Mylar options.
Schools
- Student deliveries are left with the main office
- Teacher deliveries should be scheduled for early morning whenever possible
P.O. Boxes
Flower arrangements cannot be delivered to P.O. Box or A.P.O. addresses.
If the Recipient Is Not Home
If no one is available at the time of delivery, our florist may:
- Leave the arrangement in a safe location
- Leave it with a neighbor
- Leave a delivery notice with instructions to follow up
The approach will depend on the delivery location and conditions at the time.
Address Accuracy & Responsibility
Please double check all delivery details during checkout. Chappell’s Florist cannot be held responsible for deliveries sent to incorrect addresses entered by the customer.
If an order is delivered to the wrong address due to incorrect information, the customer is responsible for the order.
Changes, Cancellations & Contacting Recipients
Orders are prepared as soon as received. Changes or cancellations cannot be made after processing begins.
If you need to make an update, please contact us as soon as possible at 802-658-4733.
In some cases we may contact the recipient to confirm delivery details or ensure delivery.
Doorstep Delivery Requests
If flowers are left at the door, the customer assumes all risk once delivery is complete.
We do not recommend unattended deliveries during extreme heat or cold as temperature exposure can damage fresh flowers.
